RELAY SPLIT CHARGE / ISOLATOR

POWERRELAIS is a paralleler, isolator between the engine battery and service battery compatible with all 12V battery technologies: lead/acid (AGM, Gel, Wet), Lithium.

The RL 12-200 is a power relay that allows the leisure battery to be charged using the alternator (traditional type), with charging currents of up to 200 A – 12 V.

When the vehicle is switched on, the D+ signal (alternator active) closes the relay circuit: the positive pole of the starting battery (i.e. the alternator positive) create the connection with the leisure battery positive pole. When the engine is turned off, the relay is open and the two batteries are disconnected.
