SMART-IN: 12v 220v pure wave and modified wave inverter (or 24v 220V for some models) that stands out for its construction quality and design. Designed to provide high performance, maximum safety, reliability and above all quiet operation, which is important for those installing the inverter inside the cabin. Thanks to the adoption of some special engineering solutions, SMART-IN inverters are also suitable for professional use.

The SMART-IN family is widely used as RV inverters, car inverters and consists of two lines: Modified and Pure, distinguished by the output waveform technology. The two product lines offer a variety of powers from 400W to 3000W, with the choice (for some models) of 24V input voltage.

SMART-IN can be used as an inverter air conditioner, inverter air conditioner, and especially in the pure wave version to power all the finest electronics, such as televisions, PCs, and all professional and healthcare equipment.

PROFESSIONAL CONNECTORS

Connections soldered directly onto the board with high conductivity bars avoid voltage drops, power losses and lower consumption on the battery.

IN/OUT IVT INVERTER

Standard versions have one or two output sockets, while models with IVT (integrated priority function) have one output socket and a fuse-protected Input (IEC) socket where the external power supply will be connected.

EASY INSTALLATION

Integrated mounting brackets allow safe installation in any position. Supplied with ultra-flexible input connection cables, specific and already dimensioned for the power of the device.

MAIN FEATURES

  • High-frequency system
  • High yield of up to 93%.
  • Low self-consumption
  • Input with professional connectors
  • Ready for remote On/Off control
  • Completely isolated input and output

PROTECTIONS

  • Soft Start
  • Overload and short-circuit protection
  • Low battery alert
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • Over-temperature protection

Characterising elements

SMART-INinverters can claim some of the lowest self-consumption on the market. Very often an inverter remains in stand-by mode, thus continuing to consume current, so having a low self-consumption allows you to conserve energy.

  • Totally isolated input and output, to prevent any anomaly in the equipment connected to the output from damaging the input or vice versa, allowing a high degree of safety.
  • Professional connectors which, unlike the cheap inverters commonly available on the market, are integrated directly into the board, allowing a substantial reduction in the voltage drop on the connection between the device and the battery, improving performance and, for the same power absorbed by a 230V consumer (e.g. a TV), consumption on the battery is lower than with classic inverters.

Pure Sine Wave or Modified?

Smart-In Pure, with high-level components, generates a 230V ‘pure sine wave’ output, the same wave type as the home network. Indispensable solution for sensitive and valuable devices, such as laptop PCs, air conditioners, coffee machines.

Smart-In Modified, with a relatively simpler and cheaper electrical circuit than the Pure version, generates a ‘modified sine wave’, similar to a square wave. This series is recommended for simpler applications, such as lighting, resistive loads… etc. Remember: the modified wave may shorten the life of your devices.

What is the IVT function

Increasingly, inverters are the only solution for powering consumers in the vehicle, but their size and power (over 1000W) make them impractical to move around as required. The IVT function is a priority system that allows the inverter to automatically power itself from the 230V mains, when available, and switch back to battery power when needed. This function makes it possible to safely connect the output of the inverter to the vehicle’s electrical circuit, so that all sockets are always powered, leaving the inverter conveniently installed near the services battery.
