an IMANAGER
IMANAGER is the innovative management system for all on-board batteries and energy requirements, which mainly avoids the “permanent parallel” connection of accumulators. It manages up to three batteries simultaneously or separately, even with different technologies and amperages improving performances, and thanks to the automatic battery cut-off function, preserving battery life. The touch display shows all available information, both on the state of charge of the batteries and on how to use them,
allowing with a simple touch to manually select the batteries to be activated or deactivated, for complete custom management.
IMANAGER constantly checks the battery voltages and, monitors the charging and discharging currents, automatically selects the battery to be used, with the aim of keeping all batteries at the same charge level and thus optimising their performance.
Why do you need
an IMANAGER
Installing two leisure batteries safely, (avoiding the obsolete and discouraged parallel operation), requires an electronic device to manage the system. With iManager you can install batteries that differ in technology (flooded, Gel, AGM), capacity and battery age.
Choose your batteries in total freedom, iManager takes care of the rest!
Main features
- Automatic or manual management of one or two leisure batteries, even of different technology and amperage.
- Dedicated output to charge the starter battery when the leisure batteries are 100% charged (e.g. garaging).
- Displays battery charge status
- Displays charging and discharging voltage and amperes
- Date and time display
- Automatic (below 11V) or manual battery cut-off via touch screen display
- Displaying info and advice on battery management and maintenance
- Temperature control during charging/discharging for increased safety
- Black Box/Display connection available by wire (cod. iM 12-150) or wireless (cod. iM 12-150W).

There are many functions, one of the most important being the automatic battery cut-off, which is activated in three different situations:
- When the voltage of one or both batteries falls below the critical limit of 10.5V.
- When the voltage of one or both batteries drops below 11V for more than 15 minutes.
- When the temperature measured on one or both batteries exceeds the limit threshold of 70°C.
This prevents loss of efficiency or irreversible damage.
Why avoid the parallel?
Parallel operation between several batteries, apart from not being the most efficient, requires the purchase of batteries that are as similar as possible in terms of make, model and power. The two batteries will work together as one, and deficits in one will affect the other, affecting its performance and longevity.
When the parallel system fails, or loses efficiency, both batteries must be replaced.
